Sharing and exports
Share links that expire, CSV, GeoJSON and PDF exports, and sending results to your own tools.
Share links
Share on the map makes a link to what you're looking at: the map view, the layer you picked (true colour or an index), the highlighted features and, if there is one, the answer they came with. Anyone with the link can open it without an account. They see that view and nothing else: not the rest of the project, other files or the conversation.
- A link lasts 1, 7, 30 or 90 days (7 unless you choose).
- The Share dialog lists the project's links with their state and expiry, each with a Revoke button. A revoked link stops at once; a map already open loses its imagery within the hour, because its tiles are fetched with short-lived passes that a revoked link doesn't renew.
- Only a fingerprint of the link is stored, so even we can't read a link back to you: copy it when it's made.
- The agent makes a share link only when you ask for one ("share this with the site team").
Exports
The download menu on a result exports the highlighted features. Pick a format:
| Format | Holds |
|---|---|
| CSV | One row per feature with its fields, for a spreadsheet. |
| GeoJSON | The shapes and their fields, for QGIS, ArcGIS or another map. |
| PDF report | The question, the answer and a table of the features behind it, on as many pages as it takes, for people who weren't in the conversation. |
An export is saved with the project and downloads through a link that's valid for a short time. Ask the agent ("export these as GeoJSON") and it makes the same file.
Sending results to your tools
Send to a connection… in the same menu delivers an export somewhere else: into an S3 bucket of yours, or to a webhook, which receives a link to the file that works for 24 hours. Set up the places first in Settings › Integrations › Connections (see Connections and automations).
